Dialog Semiconductor plc, a supplier of custom and configurable power administration, AC/DC power conversion, charging, and Bluetooth low energy know-how, was named the Best Financially Managed Semiconductor Firm at the 2019 Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) Awards.
The 24th GSA awards recognize people and companies in the semiconductor business that have shown excellence in vision, innovation, execution, and future potential throughout the industry over the past year.
Public fabless and IDM semiconductor firms are awarded the Best Financially Managed Semiconductor Firm Award based on a panel analysis of their financial well being and performance in a given year. Dialog gained the category, particularly for firms achieving over $1 Billion in annual sales.
“With over 30 years of proven experience, Dialog’s business model is built on a solid foundation of modern product design targeting fast-rising market segments including IoT,” mentioned Jodi Shelton, president, GSA.
Dialog had a strong year highlighted by innovative product introductions and financial successes, with the stock prices rising by more than 100% in 2019, along with a number of significant declarations along with the recent acquisition of Creative Chips to address the Industry 4.0 market.
“It’s an honor to be acknowledged once again by the GSA for our achievements over the last year,” said Dr. Jalal Bagherli, CEO of Dialog Semiconductor. “We’ve got a robust financial stand which is enabling us to make targeted investments to broaden our product fleet. These investments are helping construct a vibrant mixed-signal business developing the solutions our prospects have to compete in the smart connected future.”
